United News & Information is a Christian organization that believes:
- There is one God, the Creator of the universe, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- The Bible was written through divine inspiration. It is God's own message to man; as such, it is infallible, and is man's supreme authority.
- Originally created by God in His own image, man has fallen from grace due to disobedience to God; man's unrighteous nature makes it impossible for him to achieve reconciliation to God on his own.
- Satan is the enemy of God and of man, constantly working to prevent their reconciliation. He is the great deceiver of the world, keeping control over those who are unsaved.
- Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, took man's sins upon Himself, and paid the price for those sins as He was crucified and died. He took victory over death as He rose again, is seated at the right Hand of God, the Father; and shall come again.
- God has made provision for the reconciliation of His children to Himself. This salvation is possible only through one's being "born again" through the Spirit: Jesus's death on the cross is substituted for one's punishment for all of his sins, and serves as full payment. It is the death of one's sinful state, as Jesus Christ becomes the Lord and Savior of his life.
- Without this reconciliation to God through rebirth in Christ, one is "unsaved," and destined for everlasting punishment in total separation from God. With rebirth in Christ, one has salvation, and is destined for resurrection, and eternal life in the blessed Presence of God, and the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- Those who are "born again" make up the Church. They are bound together by the Holy Spirit, united, as the "Body of Christ." Jesus Christ is the mediator and advocate for His Church.
- It is God's mandate, and the responsibility of all Christians, to love God, to love our neighbors as ourselves, and to serve as God's witnesses and ambassadors, proclaiming Truth and His provision of reconciliation and salvation throughout the world.
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord;
and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
2 Corinthians 4:5
